GALERIST BURCU YAGCIOGLU

Galerist presents Born of the Interface, the first solo show by Istanbul-based artist Burcu Yagcıoglu at the gallery. This exhibition, radical both philosophically and formally, comprises large-scale drawings, a video and a sculpture containing organic material.

Burcu Yağcıoğlu was born in Istanbul in 1981. She studied BA in painting at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and MA in Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design at Sabanci University. In 2008 she moved to London to study MFA in Fine Art at Goldsmiths Collage. She graduated in 2010 and she currently lives and works in London and Istanbul.
